15 Watt Clear Candelabra Bulb

This 15 watt clear candelabra bulb has a flame tip and is our most popular choice for chandelier use. The 25 and 40 watt bulbs are fine to use in a chandelier from a safety standpoint, but they are much larger than this 15 watt bulb which, proportionately, is a better fit for most chandeliers and hanging lights.

 

For a 6 arm chandelier, this 15 watt bulb would produce 90 watts of light - sufficient for most home use. If you do use a larger wattage bulb, consider putting the light on a dimmer switch so that you can create ambience when needed.
