Our Irvin's Country Tinware lighting collection contains authentic Early American reproductions. Each light is handcrafted and treated with an antique solution to give it a wonderful patina. All of the lighting in this collection is made by one crafter, so if you are trying to match finishes, you can feel confident to order multiple pieces from this series. However, it is equally fine to mix and match pieces from various crafters. Whatever your decorating preference, whether it be colonial, country or primitive, you can be sure to find quality lighting for every room of your home.
Each of the items in this collection are prepared individually for a one-of-a-kind look. This process creates small areas of rust and irregularities making your piece unique just for you. We know you will enjoy these areas of character that give your item the charm that resembles wear over a long period of time.
Blackened Tin is an oxidized finish that looks similar to graphite pencil lead. It is not lacquered and can, over time, develop age marks.
Kettle Black is Blackened Tin that has a matte lacquer finish to it. This lacquer finish deepens the color and offers some protection from dampness.
Rustic Tin is an actual rusted metal finish that appears very aged. Various colors of reds and burgundy are sometimes mottled throughout the finish. The rusting finish is matte lacquer coated.
Care instructions: Dry dust only. Do not use a damp cloth or sprays to clean this item.
All of the lighting will be supplied with the appropriate hardware to install in your home. Maximum wattage for bulbs is 60 watt for candelabra sockets and 60 watt for standard base sockets unless otherwise noted. All bulbs are sold separately.
