All of our fixtures, unless otherwise noted, can be made in brass or copper materials. Please specify.
We offer four different finishes with any brass fixture and one copper finish. Each is hand applied and treated to maintain a consistent, overall color.
Through a series of steps, the finish process works naturally with the brass or copper materials to create the varying shades on each piece. It is a “living finish” that will change color and patina naturally in the same environment with no flaking, peeling or rusting. We do not lacquer, powder coat or paint any of our fixtures.
Antique Brass - a muted brownish-gold color
Dark Antique Brass - Dark Brown with gold highlights.
Dark Brass - A dark gray, charcoal finish. Our darkest finish.
Verdi Gris - A brass fixture with black and a blue/green finish.
Antique Copper - Slightly darkened and aged.We offer three different types of flat glass, and four different types of hand-blown glass globes. Small blemishes and bubbles are inherent in hand-blown glass and are not considered defects. Due to the nature of the glass-making process, the pattern and balance of color in the glass may vary slightly within a fixture and from one fixture to another.

Seedy Marine GlassEach onion or round onion globe is hand blown. Our optic, seedy and optic seedy glass globes will have slight ripple variations and/or differences in bubble count making each piece unique. Due to the particular techniques used in the art of artisan glass, pieces blown and finished by hand containing these unique attributes are typical of high quality hand blown glass. They should not be considered as a defect in the workmanship.

When ordering your outdoor lighting, it is important to select the proper size of light. Most home owners make the mistake of putting up a post light that is too small for either the post or for the home itself. Especially with two story homes, a post light needs to be sizable to make a statement - too small of a light will get lost in your landscape.
Remember that your outdoor lighting will appear about half the size when viewed from far away. Besides the all important post light, do you need hanging lights or wall lights? Again, bigger is better - don't be nervous about getting a light too large for either side of your door.
Consider having a few post lights if you have a very long driveway or consider adding garden lighting to accentuate that long path.
Outdoor lighting not only lets you enjoy your yard or deck at night, it also provides added security for your home. A well thought out lighting design can make a significant change to your landscape, making your home more beautiful!
