Refund policy
You have 30 days to return any items, provided they are returned to us in their original condition. No shipping charges to or from our store are refundable.
Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: The Tin Bin, 20 Valley Road, Lancaster PA 17601. Include your order number and/or name inside the box so we can properly process your return.
Consider insuring your return with whichever carrier you use to send the order back to us. If we receive the items damaged, we cannot process a return. Having the package insured would allow you to make a claim to be reimbursed for your purchase price from the carrier if you meet their qualifications.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it and contact us at sales@thetinbin.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Include photos of damaged merchandise and any damaged packaging in case we need to make a claim with our carrier.
We cannot be responsible if the item is not what you expected as all of our item names, color descriptions, photographs and sizes are approximations of our inventory. Many things look different in photographs dependent on the lighting, and we do our best to show close approximations, though we cannot guarantee that it will not look different in your home.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sales@thetinbin.com.
